Romania

Though Romania is one of the poorest countries in Europe, its economy is growing. Unemployment and inflation are declining due to the rise in industrial output and foreign investments.

The head of the state is the President according to the constitution while the head of the government is the Prime Minister.The government is composed of three tiers: legislative, with a national assembly of 450 members; executive, composed of the President and cabinet; and judiciary, which comprises of the Supreme Court and other country’s constitutional courts.

Russia is a mixed economy state and it is the 12th highest economy in the world. By 2014 the unemployment rate was about 5.4%. The country mainly exports oil, natural gas, timber and metals which constitutes to more than 80% of the total exports. Russia is the leading exporter of natural gas in the world. The primary source of government revenue is the natural gas industry and electric power plants. Russia was the first country to establish nuclear plant which produces electricity to complement hydropower.

Rwanda

The Republic of Rwanda is located within the borders of Tanzania, Uganda, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo on the continent of Africa.

The current president, who is the head of state in Rwanda, is Paul Kagame. The cabinet secretaries and prime minister are appointed by the head of state. The presidential election takes place every seven years. The parliament is responsible for legislation.

The 1994 genocide affected Rwanda’s economy negatively. The main source of government revenue is subsistence agriculture since Rwanda has scarce natural resources. The tourism industry is the current booster of Rwanda's economy.

Developing Nations

Among the three countries that start with letter R, Russia is the most developed as it is a super-power nation who has a world duty to maintain peace. However, Russia does have a high rate of corruption. Romania and Rwanda are developing nations.
