9 Stress-Free Georgia Towns For A Weekend Retreat

Most Georgia getaways stress you out because they hand you a checklist the second you arrive. These nine towns do the opposite by giving you one good thing and getting out of the way. Helen drops you in an inner tube and the Chattahoochee handles the rest of your afternoon. Jekyll Island stayed wild because the state owns it, so a slow bike ride past the driftwood becomes the whole day. The towns that actually rest you are the ones that picked a lane and committed. That is the trick to a Georgia weekend that leaves you calmer than you came.
