Tavernier

Just 103 miles (165 km) from Miami, you'll find the charming town of Tavernier. Home to just 2,530 people, this town is a slice of heaven in the Florida Keys. During your time in this beautiful town, you can visit the Laura Quinn Wild Bird Sanctuary, where you can observe over 30 species of birds that are too injured to return to the wild. While you're there, you can also learn more about the time and care that goes into helping these birds live their best lives.
