The Chagrin River cuts diagonally through Chagrin Falls, and the town's namesake waterfalls tumble right through the heart of the historic town center. Visitors can explore the river via walking paths at Riverside Park and get great views of the waterfall from scenic overlooks just off Main Street. Various local shops and restaurants, such as the Chagrin Falls Popcorn Shop and 17 River Grille, are situated close to the falls.

Chagrin Falls has a reputation for being very open and friendly. Its residents love welcoming visitors to the community and helping them make great memories. Columbiana lies about 30 minutes south of Youngstown. It has been dubbed the "Nicest Place in America" by Reader's Digest and is known as a Hallmark Christmas town for its festive spirit. The friendly community hosts many annual events, such as the Christmas in the Woods craft fair and the Shaker Woods Festival. Christmas lighting ceremonies, parades, and gingerbread house displays bring both locals and visitors together to spread holiday cheer each Christmas season.

Gallipolis

Incorporated in 1790, Gallipolis is one of the oldest towns in Ohio. Its name means "City of the Gauls": its original settlers came from France and were known as the "French 500." The town lies along the Ohio River in Appalachian America, but it has a distinctly French flavor. Many of the preserved old buildings lining the town center feature old-world architecture and are painted bright colors. Many of the streets have French names, and French shops and restaurants celebrate the town's heritage.

Pomeroy is a small town on the Ohio River in southeastern Ohio. Its pretty Main Street follows the river's curve and is lined on one side with cute historic buildings housing local businesses and shops. This one-sided design provides visitors with river views from almost anywhere in town. The crowning glory of the town is the Meigs County Courthouse, built in 1848. It towers over the other buildings and offers wide views of the river valley.

Pomeroy is known for its easygoing friendliness and natural warmth toward visitors. Though not particularly geared toward tourism, the town's residents love sharing their community and history with anyone who finds their way into town. Various events, like the Meigs County Fair and the Big Bend Blues Bash, provide opportunities for visitors and locals to come together for great food, entertainment, and activities. Sugarcreek

Sugarcreek sits in Ohio's Amish country and is nicknamed the "Little Switzerland of Ohio" thanks to the Swiss immigrants who first settled in the area. Its historic downtown district carries Alpine-style architecture that transports visitors to another time and place. The World's Largest Cuckoo Clock, which resembles a life-sized gingerbread house, stands in Sugarcreek. Built in 1972, the clock sits in the town square and pops out Swiss characters every half hour to dance a little jig. It is one of the most popular attractions in town.

The residents of Sugarcreek are proud of their Swiss heritage, and they enjoy sharing their community with anyone who comes to town. The town hosts various celebrations and events each year, most notably the Ohio Swiss Festival, which has taken place annually since 1952. Yellow Springs sits next to John Bryan State Park and the Glen Helen Nature Preserve in western Ohio.
