With a permanent population of just under 500 residents, Morrison is a small town that packs a lot of adventure into its compact size. Offering a laid-back, rural atmosphere, it is best known as the home of the world-renowned Red Rocks Amphitheatre, a natural, open-air concert venue unlike any other. Carved into towering red sandstone formations, the amphitheatre hosts more than 200 events annually, ranging from major concerts to yoga sessions and movie nights, making it one of the most iconic venues.

Steamboat Springs was originally Ute hunting land and was named after a nearby hot spring that made a steamboat-like sound.
