Picking A Florida Park Town For Retirement

Every town has a state park within 30 minutes, but home prices, property taxes, and lifestyles vary. The more affordable choices have lower home values and tax bills, and several have established golf-centered 55+ neighborhoods. Other towns have waterfront downtowns, historic districts, and access to rivers or the coast. The most expensive choices have home values closer to Florida's state median. Before settling on a town, it's worth comparing homeowners insurance quotes, local healthcare options, and the drive to the nearest medical specialist.
