A great place to start exploring Galena's downtown is at the Visitor's Center across the Galena River on Bouthillier Street. Here you can get maps, guides, and local tips to help plan your visit. The Visitor's Center is also conveniently just a short walk from Historic Main Street. After grabbing your maps from the Visitor's Center, head over to Main Street and prepare to be blown away by the bustling street. The Historic Main Street strip is lined with 125 shops and restaurants, all housed in beautiful brick buildings, with none of the typical stores you might expect to see.
