PRINT THIS MAP dot Kattegat Bay

arrow The Kattegat Bay (Danish), or Kattegatt Bay (Swedish), is a western bay of the Baltic Sea.

Waters from the Baltic Sea flow north into the Kattegat Bay through the Oresund Strait, the Great Belt and Little Belt.

In the north the Kattegat connects (or flows into) the Skagerrak Strait, a body of water that seperates southern Norway from northern Denmark, and one that provides an outlet into the Atlantic Ocean by way of the North Sea.
