Nova Scotia Flag

The flag of Nova Scotia was the first flag flown in the overseas Commonwealth to be authorized by a Royal Charter. It is in essence a representation of St. Andrew's Cross in reversed colors, with the Scotish Royal Arms centered. In fact, the name Nova Scotia means New Scotland.
