Pitcairn Islands Flag and Description

The flag of Pitcairn Islands was officially adopted in April of 1984.

As a British territory, its flag features the familiar Union Jack upper left. The coat of arms is symbolic of the Crew of the HMS Bounty that landed here in 1790, after the infamous mutiny. The anchor of the Bounty is shown within the shield.
