DESCRIPTION

The flag of New Brunswick was officially adopted and hoisted on July 16, 1966.

The yellow field is dominated by a galley ship representing local shipbuilding. It sails on wavy blue and white lines, and display a white sail and three red flags. The golden lion is representative of new Brunswick's ties to Britain.
