Nunavut is located in both the northern and western
hemispheres.
Specifically positioned in northern Canada, a part of North America, Nunavut is bordered by the Canadian province of
Manitoba, and by
Northwest Territories. It also borders Baffin Bay, Davis Strait and Hudson Bay, and it fronts the Arctic Ocean and
Greenland in the far north. In fact, more than 50% of Nunavut's landmass is above the Arctic Circle.
