Located in Salinas Valley, the Pinnacles National Park is full of diversity with remarkable rock formations, caves, desert landscapes, and lush forests. 

For adventurous visitors who enjoy the challenge of a hike, the Balconies Cliffs-Cave Loop and the Old Pinnacles Trail lead visitors through narrow dark caves. The Moses Spring to Rim Trail Loop is an easier trail leading hikers through a cave to Bear Gulch Reservoir. The reservoir is surrounded by pinnacle rock formations making it the perfect place for a picnic and photos.
