Washington, D.C. experiences the four seasons of the northern hemisphere; Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.

The weather is generally mild. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable seasons, with high temperatures near 80.0 °F, and lows in the mid-60s.

Summers are hot and humid with a July daily average of 79.2 °F (26.2 °C) and average daily relative humidity around 66%. High temperatures near 90.0 °F are somewhat frequent.

Winters can be moderate, but very cold conditions with significant snow is not uncommon. Winter temperatures average around 38 °F (3.3 °C) from mid-December to mid-February.
