The Cayman Islands have a tropical marine climate, with a wet season of warm, rainy summers (May to October) and a dry season of relatively mild winters (November to April).

The temperature in the Cayman Islands, summer or winter, seldom goes lower than 21°C (70°F) or higher than 32°C (90°F) with the daily average varying between 25°C (77°F) and 29°C (84°F) depending on the season.

The average relative humidity is a comfortable 75%, and the water temperature averages 27°C (80°F) throughout the year.

The island are subject to hurricanes from July through mid-November, however, advance warnings are very dependable.

The wet season averages about 6.9 inches of rain per month, with May through October the wettest months. Similar to the U.S. State of Florida, the afternoon showers are brief.
