World Atlas Journey Around South America
On January 13, 2010, the map team at worldatlas.com departed on a Grand Voyage around South America on Holland America's most intimate ship, the MS Prinsendam.
MS Prinsendam
This 70-day cruise sailed roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and the ship's in-depth itinerary included exploration of many of South America's most interesting attractions and ports of call. The trip also included eight full days of cruising the Amazon River, navigating around Cape Horn and through the Straits of Magellan, and scenic cruising in Antarctica.
Along the way we posted photos, video and a daily journal.
