Prince Edward Island has a relatively mild climate, aided by the warm waters of the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
Summers are warm with low humidity, especially July and August, when temperatures sometimes reach as high as 90 F (32 C).
Winters are cold and Prince Edward Island is subject to many severe storms - especially blizzards.
