Climate:
In the lowland areas, Puerto Rico averages a daily high of 80 °F (26.7 °C) throughout the year. In the central mountains, high temperatures of 70 °F (21.1 °C) are the norm. There is very little seasonal variations.
Puerto Rico has a rainy season which stretches from April into November, and the heaviest rainfall occurs in the central mountains.
Most travelers prefer the winter months as the days are sunny, yet not as humid and hot as mid-summer when temps near 90°F are common. The hurricane season runs from June to mid-November, but there are plenty of reliable warning for travelers.
