ATTRACTIONS: (a few major)
Guadeloupe is an archipelago of nine inhabited islands, including Basse-Terre, Grande-Terre, Marie-Galante, La Desirade, Iles des Saintes, Saint-Barthelemy, Iles de la Petite Terre, and Saint-Martin (French part of the island of Saint Martin).
Guadeloupe is sometimes referred to as the Butterly Island as the shapes of its two major islands resemble the wings of a butterly.
The long stretches of sandy beaches, the La Soufrière volcano, hiking trails, along with the Reserve Cousteau dive spot, make Guadeloupe a desirable and fun-filled destination.
