Climate:
In the southern and eastern regions of Macedonia Mediterranean weather patterns are typical, while the northern and western parts experience a Continental climate.
Rainfall is heavy through the western and eastern side of the country, with precipitation falling mostly in the spring and fall months.
Each season in Macedonia is rather distinct, but vary in length depending on the region. Summers are warm (occasionally hot), with some rain, and average temperatures remain in the mid 80's (30°C). It's not uncommon, though, for temperatures to soar over 100°F (37°C). Winters are typically cold with heavy snowfall.
