Climate:
The Czech Republic has warm pleasant summers and cold, snowy winters. The higher elevations within the country run colder, and snow fall can be heavy.
January is the coldest month, where daily highs average near -7°C (18°F). Mornings can be quite chilly.
In winter there is usually snow in the mountains and across much of the country, however, most precipitation occurs in summer.
July is the warmest month of the year, and during the summer months daily highs averaging near 26°C (79°F) are the norm. Hotter temps are not uncommon.
The fall months in the Czech Republic are relatively warm and dry. During October, daily high temperatures are often near 15°C (59°F), but colder conditions are certainly possible.
