Climate:
Croatia experiences very pleasant Mediterranean conditions along the coastal areas, with mild winters and dry summers.
Colder winters and somewhat hotter summers are more common inland.
Precipitation falls mainly in winter, and while snow is rare along the coast it is pretty heavy within the interior of the country.
Average temperatures for summer remain in the low 80's (20°C) for the coastal region, and can soar up into the 90's (30°C) inland. Winter temperatures tend to hover below 40°F (4°C).
