Climate:
Summers through early fall (June - September) in Qatar are very hot, with temperatures commonly exceeding 120°F (48°C).
During fall months (September - October) weather continues to remain on the hot side, although not as severely, with daily highs averaging in the mid to upper 80's (26°C).
From winter through spring (November - May) temperatures can moderate to as low as 62°F (16°C), which is somewhat cool for its location near the
Tropic of Cancer.
Rainfall is a rare occurrence, and is typically confined to the winter months. Out-of-the-blue dust storms do occur on occasion, and severe ones literally blot out the sun.
