Ironically, it's an attractive destination, but getting here is all but impossible as airplane service is infrequent, and even if you somehow make the journey, amenities are lacking and credit cards are not accepted. (Not much happens out here and chances are you'll have to stay a week or two since Air Tahiti only services it three times a month. This is truly a forgotten part of the world, and besides...there are no ATMs)
