(CORRECTION) Clue #2 should read....."It was in the running to host part of a major international sporting event, until rejected a few months back....") Sorry, but our info was out of date. (It was a potential host city for the FIFA football/soccer World Cup scheduled to happen across Brazil in 2014, but it was rejected in May of this year.)
