(Parishes are a common political subdivision of a British county) ![]() ![]() One of those parishes is known as the spot where two significant geographic landforms come together. (In St. Lucy Parish, on the northern fringes of the island, the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea come together) ![]() ![]() The genesis of its rather unique name is credited (by some) to refer to bearded people, but there are many other explanations for the moniker.
