An accomplished green-thumbed genius really put this place on the map, but sadly for most travelers to this familiar country, they never take the time to visit here as most don't know it exists, much less know where it is. (Henry Mc Ilhenny from Philadelphia created one of the most celebrated gardens in Ireland here. Woodland gardens and pleasure grounds, an Italian terrace with antique sculpture and terracotta pots, all these different themes have been skillfully interwoven against the wild and beautiful Donegal landscape)
