On March 11, 2011, a significant earthquake occurred off the northeastern coast of Japan. That earthquake produced a massive tsunami that devastated much of the coastline, and as that tsunami moved east across the Pacific Ocean, Hawaiii was hit, and in the end, significant damage was done to parts of the western coast of the USA. |
